1475 Mount Fee Road needs a name.
You are invited to help name the WHA's next rental project, currently under construction at 1475 Mount Fee Road in Cheakamus Crossing.
This new project is expected to be ready in Summer 2026 and will feature 104 homes ranging from studios to 3-bedroom apartment units.
You can suggest one or more names; just make sure they comply with the criteria as defined below. WHA staff will consider the suggestions and make a recommendation to the WHA Board for final approval.
You are encouraged to get creative and suggest names taking inspiration from one of the following five themes:
- Local geographical places/features;
- Historical reference;
- Olympics or Paralympics;
- Reference to Mount Fee Road; or
- Canadian wildlife.
Be sure to avoid any of the following:
- Names that may cause offense;
- Attempted humour;
- Long names or Acronyms;
- Names associated with individuals, businesses and or corporations; or
- Names that could cause confusion (i.e. hard to spell or similar to names already in use locally).
Deadline for submission: November 28, 2025. By submitting a name suggestion, the respondent agrees that they will be assigning the property of the name to the Whistler Housing Authority.
The selected entry may be eligible for a local grocery store gift card.
