1475 Mount Fee Road

Construction of WHA's newest 104-unit Employee Housing rental project located at 1475 Mount Fee Road is progressing well. Exterior framing work was completed at the end of May, and with the roofs now on, the units are beginning to take shape with interior construction advancing swiftly. Window installation is underway, and the two apartment buildings are expected to be watertight by July. This new rental housing remains on track for WHA tenants to commence moving in summer 2026. The new apartments will be leased to applicants on the WHA Rental Waitlist.

1600 Mount Fee Road

RWOW Council approved the Development Permit and Rezoning for the next proposed WHA Employee Housing rental project, located across the road at 1600 Mount Fee Road. This new project will include a mix of 105 apartment units, plus 20 townhouses for rent. Occupancy for these units is currently expected for winter 2027-2028. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.

Completion of these two new large Employee Housing projects will increase the number of WHA rental homes available to Whistler's workforce to over 600, an increase of over 60%.

Now is a great time to join the WHA Rental Waitlist, particularly for families interested in two or three-bedroom homes. Tell your friends and colleagues if they’re not already on the WHA Rental Waitlist to apply.
