WHA's annual Ownership Waitlist Renewal Process was conducted in January and February 2025. The 2025 waitlist renewal included a rigorous review of all applicants' employment details to reconfirm their ongoing eligibility. While most waitlist members were approved to remain on the Ownership Waitlist, the renewal process resulted in 14.13% of waitlist members being removed for various reasons, such as:
- Employment ineligibility
- Not working for a Qualified Whistler Business
- Missing required number of hours
- Discovery of undisclosed real estate ownership
- Non-response to the process, or a request by some waitlist members to be removed during the renewal process
